SD40T-2 – The below selected photos denote the road numbers of the models to be produced. For the Southern Pacific, there will be models made available for different eras and two different orders (one order with standard 88″ nose and one order with 123″ nose), so please check the details of each road number listed to make sure the details and type are correct for your model and modeling era. Four basic era configurations from each manufacturers’ series will be available. For the “As Delivered” version, road numbers (88″ nose) 8501, 8525, 8553 and 8572 – (123″ nose) 8309, 8317 and 8321 will be made available. For the 1980s version, road numbers (88″ nose) 8506, 8515 and 8543 – (123″ nose) 8316 and 8318 will be available. For the “Modern Era” in standard lettering, road numbers (88″ nose) 8499, 8519 and 8566 – (123″ nose) 8314 and 8319 will be available. For “Modern Era” in speed lettering, road numbers (88″ nose) 8515, 8520, 8559 and 8571 –  (123″ nose) 8307, 8312 and 8322 will be available. Reservations may still be made on these road numbers only, up until reservations have reached the cut off point directly prior to production.
